Papa Katsu! Episode 1

Papa Katsu (2017) is a Japanese drama mini-series that centers on 20-year-old university student Anri, who becomes homeless after her mother kicks her out to live with a new boyfriend. While struggling to find a place to stay and sleeping in internet cafes, Anri engages in “papakatsu” (dating older men for financial support/gifts).

Synopsis:
She meets Wataru, a 45-year-old university lecturer, and moves into an apartment he rents for her. The plot deepens as their unconventional relationship develops, and Anri discovers a hidden secret that Wataru has been keeping from her.
